Jose Trevino, Jr. is the founder and Chief Executive
Officer of Trevino & Associates. A 33-year veteran of urban education,
Mr. Trevino has received numerous awards as an innovator and school
reformist. As a principal at both the middle and high school levels and as a
district superintendent, Mr. Trevino has been able to assist many campuses
“turn” from academically unacceptable to recognized or exemplary status. Mr.
Trevino was one of the founding writers and the interim principal for the
HISD Eastwood Charter High School, one of the “shining stars” in Houston. Mr.
Trevino is a strong believer that successful teaching and successful
leadership are the key ingredients to student achievement. Mr. Trevino holds
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Texas A & I
University in Kingsville and a Master of Education degree in Educational
