Gilbert DeAnda has extensive experience and expertise in
data analysis, monitoring, auditing and problem identification. As a business manager, Mr. DeAnda gained a
great deal of experience in budgeting, finance, staffing and training. Mr.
DeAnda has over 25 years of experience with PEIMS and PID and has been
instrumental in saving school districts and campuses millions of dollars in
federal and state funding. While at Region IV Educational Service Center, Mr.
DeAnda worked with over fifty school districts, from small to complex. After moving to the Houston ISD, Mr.
DeAnda’s professional responsibilities have included technical support to
campuses, student data management within a school environment and district
wide planning, implementation and supervision of all functions and activities
related to data quality and integrity.
Mr. DeAnda’s proactive approach of continuously monitoring and
analyzing all district and campus data allows him to identify discrepancies,
errors or omissions so that these problems can be corrected before they have
